Heads Up!
If the Narthex seems a bit brighter this weekend, it’s with good reason. Three beautiful new chandeliers have been installed. This project nearly completes the restoration of the Church, begun in the summer of 2008.  Be sure to look up and admire the new lighting fixtures the next time you’re passing through the Narthex on your way to or from the Church.

LENTEN CROSS 2010 - Please pray for the 276 individuals and families who have made a total of 717 pledges to service, prayer, advocacy and private Lenten devotions. Their commitment ribbons have been placed on the stole of the Lenten Cross, which will remain in the Narthex throughout the Lenten Season.

The 2010 Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal is underway. $1.5 million of the 2010 Stewardship Appeal is set aside for charities. Through your generous contributions, the Archdiocese is able to serve 5.3 million meals in parishes and communities, provide safe after-school programs for 2,800 children, and help 4,700 individuals with job training and placement. This coming weekend (March 13th and 14th) is Commitment Weekend. At all Masses you will have an opportunity to make your pledge to the Appeal. As children of Christ, we are called to serve others out of gratitude to God. Please consider a sacrificial commitment to the 2010 Appeal. Thank you.
