Met-St. Ignatius Collaboration

The Veronica Lally Kehoe Faith and Culture Programs

Mindful of the rich heritage of the Catholic Church in fostering the Arts, and of our place in the cultural life of the City of New York, we endeavor to provide our parishioners and friends with access to the exhibits of the museum which highlight artistic interpretations of faith. We do this by offering lectures, often by the Curators of the exhibits, on the social background of the paintings, making the connection with the Church and religious beliefs of the time, and by arranging private tours of the Collections.
