Your Parish, Your Home, the Campaign for the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola was publicly launched in April of 2018. It is a three-year capital campaign with the ambitious goal of raising $7.5 million dollars. Solicitations were paused from March to September 2020 due to the pandemic. To date, over $6.8 million has been raised by 20% of our registered parishioners.

This campaign will provide the infrastructure to make all the buildings of the parish–the Church, the Parish House, Wallace Hall and the Grammar School–barrier-free. The project also includes significant improvements to the parish’s security and fire suppression systems.

The most notable part of the campaign is the installation of an elevator on the 84th Street side of the Church that will take passengers down to Wallace Hall and up into the Church by way of a level ramp. The elevator project is ahead of schedule and it will be in service by Christmas 2020.

An accessible ramp to the Parish House was completed in the fall of 2018. The Kelly Loggia, or entrance to Wallace Hall, has been beautifully renovated. Fire safety and security systems in the Church and Wallace Hall have been completed. The final phase of the project, scheduled for late 2021, includes the installation of fire and security systems, heating and air conditioning infrastructure, and a ramp into the Grammar School.
