Your Parish, Your Home: The Campaign for the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola

Your Parish, Your Home, the Campaign for the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola was publicly launched in April of 2018. It is a three-year capital campaign with the ambitious goal of raising $7.5 million dollars. As of early November, over $6.4 million has been raised by 16% of our registered parishioners.

This campaign will provide the infrastructure to make all the buildings of the parish–the Church, the Parish House, Wallace Hall and the Grammar School–barrier-free. The project also includes significant improvements to the parish’s security and fire suppression systems.

The most notable part of the campaign is the installation of an elevator on the 84th Street side of the church that will allow access to Wallace Hall and a level ramp to enter the Church.

Accessible ramps to the Parish House and the Grammar School have been constructed. The loggia, or entrance to Wallace Hall will be renovated and the Church’s crumbling masonry and roof will be repaired. Fire safety and security systems in the Church, Wallace Hall and Parish House will be upgraded and heating and air-conditioning infrastructure will be improved.
